Wrightfield Partners with Liftvrac to Offer Elevator Conveyor Without Flights in UK and Ireland

Wrightfield, a leading provider of high-performance food processing solutions, is pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with Liftvrac, a globally recognized manufacturer of innovative and unique conveyor systems based in France. This exclusive agreement will allow Wrightfield to distribute Liftvrac’s cutting-edge technology to the UK and Ireland, expanding its already extensive portfolio of food processing solutions.

The partnership comes at a time when consumer preferences are greatly influencing the food industry. In 2023, UK retail sales of dairy products increased by 7% to €2.61 billion, with a significant 12% rise in fermented dairy products. There has also been a growing demand for healthier options, including fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as an emergence of vegan, flexitarian, and vegetarian diets. These changing consumer trends require advanced and reliable technologies to meet the evolving production needs of food processors.

Wrightfield is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art solutions that meet these market demands, making Liftvrac’s conveyor systems a valuable addition to its product range.

To solidify this partnership, key members of the Wrightfield team, including Sales Director Mark Rose, Sales Manager Jason Taylor, and Marketing Manager Andrew Long, visited Liftvrac’s headquarters in France on February 3rd, 2025. The visit also included a tour of the Lactalis cheese processing plant near Nantes, where they were able to witness the exceptional performance of Liftvrac’s conveyor systems in a high-demand food production environment.

Liftvrac’s conveyor is uniquely designed to preserve delicate food products, such as crisps and biscuits, even at high production rates. The principle of vaulting ensures that products remain intact and at their original temperature throughout the conveying process. The smooth belt gently wraps the material, eliminating pressure, and at the outlet, the belt opens while a continuous scraper prevents any material loss.

This zero-loss system makes Liftvrac an ideal solution for the food industry, minimizing waste and maximizing profitability. The benefits of this technology extend across various food sectors, including dairy and cheese, meat and poultry, seafood, bakery and confectionery, and fruit and vegetables.

One of the most significant advantages of Liftvrac’s conveyors is their hygienic design and cleanability. They feature tool-free belt removal, an EHEDG-approved hygienic design, a semi-automatic cleaning system, and a space-saving vertical conveying structure.

Mark Rose, Sales Director at Wrightfield, commented on the partnership, saying, “We are thrilled to partner with Liftvrac, a company that shares our commitment to engineering excellence and innovation in food processing. Their unique conveyor solutions perfectly align with our expertise in designing and integrating high-quality processing equipment. This agreement strengthens our offering, allowing us to provide UK and Irish customers with the most efficient and hygienic conveying solutions available. With Liftvrac, we can help food processors reduce waste, improve efficiency, and maintain the highest product quality.”

With decades of experience in food processing and automation, Wrightfield and Liftvrac are well-positioned to deliver tailored, high-performance conveyor solutions. This partnership reinforces Wrightfield’s role as a trusted supplier of advanced processing equipment, ensuring that businesses benefit from increased productivity, improved hygiene, and enhanced product quality.
