UK Consumers Reveal Product of the Year 2025 Winners

London, UK – After a rigorous annual survey of over 8,000 UK consumers, the winners of Product of the Year 2025 have been announced. This prestigious award recognizes the best of the best in FMCG and other industries.

This year, beauty, homeware, and pet products have dominated the list of winners. In addition, two new categories – “Financial Services” and “Garden Lifestyle” – have been added to the list of winners for the first time.

For over two decades, Product of the Year has been known for its ability to put brands and products on the map by giving them the recognition they deserve. The iconic logo, with an 81% recognition among shoppers, can be seen in major supermarkets and convenience stores across the nation. It is seen as a seal of approval for consumers, by consumers.

Without further ado, here are the winners:

Beauty and wellness products shine

Natural beauty is a recurring theme among this year’s beauty and wellness winners. Dove Advanced Care Body Wash range, with its 24-hour moisturizing formula, has won the hearts of consumers. NIVEA’s Serum-Infused Micellar Water Skin Glow, the UK’s first serum-infused micellar water, also took home an award. In the “Suncare” category, Hawaiian Tropic Hydrating Protection Lotion SPF50 was recognized for its ability to protect skin while giving it a radiant glow. In the haircare and grooming categories, Schwarzkopf Oleo Intense (hair color) and Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 Razor were clear winners.

Beer and spirits cause a stir

In the “Beer” category, Birra Moretti ‘Sale Di Mare’ was inspired by Italy’s coastal regions and has been recognized as a true innovator by Product of the Year. Other alcohol category winners include Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola, a popular premixed spirit, and Strongbow Strawberry, a new addition to the fruity ciders range.

DIY and garden products bring it home

3M has revolutionized picture hanging with their “no-tool” CommandTM X-Large Picture Hanging Strips. The Keter Signature Garden Storage Box, which doubles as storage and seating, won in the “Garden Lifestyle” category. This is the first time this category has been recognized by Product of the Year.

First-class fem-care winners

In the menstrual care category, Bodyform Period Pants and Always FlexProtect, a highly absorbent product, were clear winners. Additionally, TENA Silhouette Incontinence Underwear, with its 30% less bulk than previous products, was recognized as a leader in the category.

Food for thought: A veggie victory and a world-first winner

In the “Vegetarian” category, Lurpak® Plant Based, a product free from palm oil, preservatives, coloring, and other additives, was recognized. Walkers Extra Flamin’ Hot, a new addition to their range of crisps and bagged snacks, was also a winner. And for those in search of the perfect chip, Birds Eye Crispy Chips took home the trophy in the “Chips” category.

Sustainable packaging innovation was also recognized, with The British Crisp Co., Mentos Pure Fresh Gum Duo Packs, and Mentos Discovery all taking home awards. In the “Frozen” category, Farmfoods Roasted Sliced Chicken was a well-deserved winner.

Soft drinks make a winning splash

Three winners in the “Soft Drinks” category went beyond just providing a caffeine kick. Kenco Millicano Cadbury Mocha, Starbucks® Protein Drink with Coffee, and Starbucks® Frappuccino Caramel No Added Sugar were all recognized for their unique flavors and ingredients.

A finance first!

Starling Bank’s Personal Current Account app was the first Financial Services product to ever win a Product of the Year award. The app shares “spending insights” and helps users budget across different categories, from groceries to holiday savings.

Household heroes top the podium

In the “General Household” and “Household Cleaning” categories, Harpic Hygienic & Fresh Stickers and Cillit Bang Expert 100% Limescale Remover were clear winners. Air Wick Essential Mist, a household fragrance favorite, also took home an award. Comfort Scent Booster Elixir, which adds 10 times more fragrance to your weekly wash, was recognized in the laundry category. Persil Wonder Wash Range, a vibrant range of detergents designed for short cycles, also took home a trophy. Among hygiene products, Andrex® Ultimate Quilts Vanilla & Sandalwood Fragranced Toilet Tissue and Wet Ones Be Fresh Antibacterial Wipes were recognized as winners in their respective categories.
