Vinylly Launches in UK: A New Haven for Music-Loving Singles

Last Updated on: 6th December 2023, 05:12 pm

Vinylly, the innovative dating app designed for music lovers, has now made its debut in the UK Apple App Store. This free-to-download app, offering optional premium features, extends an invitation to the UK’s music enthusiast singles to discover and connect with others who share their passion for music. Having achieved significant success in the US and Canada, Vinylly is set to replicate this in the UK, where it offers a unique platform for building connections rooted in musical interests.

The app particularly appeals to millennials and Gen Z, for whom music is a pivotal part of dating and relationships. Vinylly creates a space where users can match and connect over shared music preferences, covering a wide array of genres.

Rachel Van Nortwick, CEO of Vinylly, commented on the launch: “We are thrilled to introduce Vinylly to the UK marketplace. By combining the excitement of online dating with the power of music, we believe we have created a truly immersive and engaging experience for music lovers looking for a meaningful connection.”

Vinylly distinguishes itself with an intuitive interface that includes features like compatibility based on musical tastes and the ability to share customised playlists with potential matches. Founded by Van Nortwick in 2019, Vinylly was born out of her profound love for music and its ability to forge genuine connections, offering an alternative to the superficiality of traditional dating apps.

Discussing the app’s ethos, Van Nortwick said: “I have always thought a dating app should be substance over superficial. We focus on authenticity where users can be themselves and can easily connect with others using their music DNA, and that’s especially important in today’s world, where YPulse data shows music is the number one thing young people use to express themselves.”

With its launch in the UK, Vinylly is poised to expand further with an upcoming release on the UK Google Play Store for Android users.
