  • The online equipment rental market is ripe for growth and expansion currently accounting for just 0.05% of market share, an astonishingly small figure that reflects the antiquated catalogue and PDF model still adhered to by vast majority of the rental industry
  • Rentuu is pioneering change in the rental equipment industry, improving productivity by removing outdated procedures and introducing an on-demand equipment rental service that streamlines logistics
  • Recent UK heatwave boosts Rentuu business to an all-time high with a 75% increase in demand for corporate outdoor equipment compared to 2017

Paving the way for the online rental industry, Rentuu is fast becoming the go-to company for events and functions across the UK as they take advantage of market share and spearhead the industry into the digital age.

The online rental market accounts for just 0.05% of the UK equipment rental industry, an astonishingly small figure and an area ripe for growth and expansion. Rentuu is pioneering the change and bringing the industry into the digital age by improving the productivity of the industry, removing outdated procedures used by most rental companies. Instead, Rentuu have introduced an on-demand equipment rental service that streamlines logistics to a single intermediary touch-point.

The service allows both suppliers and consumers to compare prices online and immediately check the availability of stock, eliminating the need for traditional renting procedures such as PDF’s and brochures. With a vast bank of suppliers and clients, including the BBC and Premier Inn, Rentuu is fast becoming the go-to company for events and functions across the UK. Supplies are sourced within 48 hours – from sound, audio, furniture and glassware, to quirkier awards bash or office party elements such as candy floss machines and inflatable unicorns.

The recent UK heatwave has brought Rentuu’s business to an all-time high, with both uncertain British weather patterns and the popularity of outdoor events increasing demand for last-minute online rentals, on outdoor and garden essentials, by 75% from April to July, compared to 2017.

Rentuu focus on providing corporate events planners, venues and conference spaces, exhibitions, schools, rental properties and coworking spaces across the UK with products they need for short time periods. In a previously untapped and unexplored industry in terms of its online potential, Rentuu catapults procurement of event essentials into the 21st century.

The vision of tech entrepreneur and CEO, Andrea Guzzoni, Rentuu’s aim is to make the lives of event planners and operational business teams as seamless as possible, whilst offering the best value and highest quality rental products at the click of a button.

Andrea Guzzoni, CEO of Rentuu, said: “In a market with a predominantly offline presence, where word-of-mouth is the go-to over online marketing, gaining the trust of suppliers was always going to be a challenge. Some of our partners however have already seen their business grow by more than 20% since using Rentuu – this is a great measurement for success for us. We’re in a unique position where both our customers and partner suppliers are shaping the business, so we can adapt quickly to match their needs and provide them with the best Rentuu experience.”

The industry has never been flexible or dynamic enough to be moved online until now, in the age of digital revolution, where companies can completely change the landscape of an industry for the better.

Rentuu is committed to shifting behaviours to renting over buying, keeping costs low and helping the environment too.

Having only arrived on the scene in 2017, Rentuu have already launched in Ireland with offices in Dublin and Cork and are set for further European expansion.
