“UK Businesses to Gain Greater Insight on Exit Strategies with Celestus Campaign”

A leading UK platform for aggregating businesses for sale in the small to mid-market enterprise sector, BSR (Business Sale Report), has recently announced the launch of a new division called Celestus. This division will offer a comprehensive value acceleration and exit planning advisory service for business owners.

Research conducted by Celestus has revealed some concerning statistics. It was found that 95% of business owners do not have a formal plan for life after selling their business and less than 20% have had a formal business valuation. Additionally, only 34% of business owners are aware of their exit options.

To combat these issues, Celestus has assembled a team of certified exit planning advisors (CEPAs) who specialize in areas critical to value building and exit planning. This team includes financial planners, lawyers, Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) specialists, and chartered accountants who work together to create a comprehensive, personalized plan that typically spans over 12-24 months.

The process involves identifying and addressing any problem areas in the business that may hinder profitability, growth, or potential buyers. By the end of the process, the business is “de-risked” and value drivers are boosted, making it “exit-ready” with a market value that is often significantly higher than what it would have been at the beginning.

St Cartmail adds, “In today’s dynamic market, it’s more important than ever for business owners to be proactive about de-risking their enterprise and building value. We’re launching Celestus now to empower business owners with the tools and expertise they need to make informed decisions and maximize their returns when they choose to exit.”
