THP Chartered Accountants are pleased to announce the appointments of Shahid Hameed and Miles Girdlestone as Client Directors of their board, effective immediately.
Both individuals bring extensive experience and invaluable support to the current board of directors, which will be integral as the business continues to grow.
Shahid Hameed FCA FCCA joined the firm three years ago and has been instrumental in almost doubling the audit portfolio. As Money Laundering Compliance Officer, he ensures that THP remains compliant with AML regulations. On his appointment, Shahid said: “Having worked at THP as a Client Manager for several years I have always enjoyed the variety of work, professionalism, freedom, and top-quality service we provide to our clients. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity provided in this new role and will do my best to support my fellow directors in maintaining our high standards.”
Miles Girdlestone FCA joined THP in 2014 from one of the big six firms. He brings a wealth of knowledge in corporate services, such as auditing, accounts and corporation tax return preparation, as well as personal tax services. Additionally, Miles manages the grant audit services for both new and existing clients. A boxing and football enthusiast, Miles expressed his delight at the opportunity to join the board: “I am incredibly grateful and honoured to have been appointed as a director. In this role, I will strive to bring fresh perspectives, innovative ideas and strategic insights to the table. Ultimately, our success is directly linked to the satisfaction and loyalty of our clients.”
