With the arrival of the new ‘25 number plates, The Electric Car Scheme has compiled a selection of the best options currently available, alongside those that have been automatically prohibited.
From 1st March, UK motorists will be able to choose from millions of new registration plate combinations. Many car buyers are expected to take advantage of the updated plates when purchasing their next vehicle. However, the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) has already intervened to prevent inappropriate or offensive options from being issued, banning approximately 3,400 number plates.
March is also set to mark a significant rise in electric vehicle adoption, driven by changes in road tax policies, employer National Insurance contributions, and end-of-quarter sales incentives.
