Olivia Burton has announced that it is launching a new Rainbow of Hope watch in support of NHS Charities Together.
The accessories brand has revealed that £10 from every sale of the watch will go towards the charity caring for the NHS. The limited-edition Rainbow of Hope watch is currently on sale for £79.
Olivia Brown previously supported the NHS with its rainbow illustration, which was unveiled on social media during the early days of the lockdown in 2020. According to a statement, the watch will feature ‘that same artisanal print, with hand-illustrated watercolour rainbow and butterfly motifs.’
Chief Executive of NHS Charities Together, Ellie Orton, discussed the importance of such a gesture.
She said: “Every customer’s £10 donation will go towards supporting NHS workers, volunteers and patients at the centre of the crisis, making a huge difference to so many lives.”
Marcos Lopez, President of Olivia Burton, pointed towards the wherewithal displayed by the NHS during the coronavirus pandemic as one of the reasons for such a donation. He said: “During what has been a period of extreme uncertainty we looked to the NHS for guidance, support and strength. Today, I am proud to officially announce Olivia Burton’s support for the NHS and we hope that our donation to NHS Charities Together will serve to give back to those who so selflessly gave to us.”
Olivia Burton was founded in 2012. Its staff work out of a small design studio in East London. It has become renowned for its stylish and original collections. NHS Charities Together supports over 240 NHS charities.
