Streamlining Driver Experience: EasyPark Group Takes Over Parkopedia

EasyPark Group, a leading provider of digital parking and mobility solutions, has completed its strategic acquisition of Parkopedia, a global leader in connected car services and mobility data aggregation. The acquisition aims to create a seamless, end-to-end driver experience, utilizing highly accurate and complete data and global payment capabilities.

According to EasyPark Group CEO Cameron Clayton, the addition of Parkopedia will enhance the driver journey by integrating in-car data and payment technology for parking, EV charging, fueling, and tolling with EasyPark Group’s digital parking solutions and on-street parking equipment. This will result in a more efficient and streamlined experience for drivers, and the company is excited to share this platform with current and future partners.

The acquisition builds on a long-standing collaboration between EasyPark Group and Parkopedia, and will enable the group to serve a wider range of vehicles and customer profiles. It will also provide cities with data-driven insights to shape mobility and transportation policies and improve the use of urban spaces.

Parkopedia Founder and CEO Eugene Tsyrklevich believes that this acquisition is a transformative moment for data-driven mobility. He states that the combined capabilities of the two companies will result in new products and features that enhance connected car services and data monetization opportunities for municipalities and the automotive industry. This will help accelerate innovation and service delivery, ultimately making global mobility more convenient for users.

The acquisition is supported by the investment firms Vitruvian Partners, Verdane, and Searchlight Capital Partners L.P., which jointly own the company. However, the terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

EasyPark Group, which operates in over 6,000 cities across more than 80 countries, aims to make cities more livable through its mobility platform. In 2024, it was recognized as one of Europe’s fastest-growing businesses by Financial Times and Statista. In January 2025, the company expanded its scope by acquiring Flowbird, further solidifying its position as a leading mobility platform.

Parkopedia, on the other hand, is a connected car services provider used by automakers, organizations, and millions of drivers worldwide. It offers services such as finding and paying for parking, EV charging, fuel, and tolls in 90 countries. The company is also developing detailed parking maps and algorithms to help drivers and self-driving vehicles navigate to available parking spaces indoors.
