Infinigate, the value-add distributor of cybersecurity, secure network and secure cloud, has appointed Steinar Østbye as its new Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer (CSTO).
Steinar joins the organisation at a time of rapid development, and is expected to contribute significantly to the company’s goal of achieving €5bn revenue by 2027. As CSTO, he will be responsible for leading the transformation process to ensure maximum growth, and accelerating the company’s digitalisation and portfolio expansion.
Steinar brings over 20 years of experience in strategic roles across a number of geographies, and has a focus on defining and executing growth and transformation agendas, particularly in the tech industry. He joins Infinigate from Mastercard, where he was responsible for the commercial integration of the businesses acquired from Nets Group, as well as global strategy development for Bill Pay.

I believe my experience in strategic management and business transformation will help me make a substantial contribution to our next phase of growth.”

Steinar, originally from Norway, will be based in London, UK, with frequent travel to the EMEA region. His new role starts on 2 October 2023.
The Infinigate Group is an EMEA cybersecurity powerhouse covering over 100 countries. In fiscal year 2022/23, its revenue was 2.2 billion Euros. Starlink, Vuzion (now Infinigate Cloud) and Nuvias became part of the Infinigate Group in 2022.
