sennder Technologies GmbH announced today that it has reached an agreement to acquire the European Surface Transportation (EST) operations of global logistics provider C.H. Robinson. C.H. Robinson is one of the world’s largest logistics providers with USD 22 billion in freight under management and 20 million shipments annually. Through this transaction, EST will become a part of sennder, creating one of the largest Full Truck Load (FTL) providers in Europe with a combined revenue of EUR 1.4 billion and a team of 1,700 employees.
The acquisition is expected to accelerate sennder’s vision of creating an efficient and sustainable road freight network in Europe, essential for driving the European economy. The combined business will also unlock significant growth opportunities by providing improved service offerings and digital capabilities, offering EST customers access to sennder’s proprietary platform, sennOS.

The transaction is expected to close in Q4 2024, subject to corporate structuring, mandatory employee consultations, and applicable merger control proceedings. sennder was advised by Evercore and Taylor Wessing on the financial and legal sides, respectively. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
