Runway Training, an eminent provider of adult learning support, has enlisted a customised double-decker bus from Roadshow Promotions, the UK’s foremost promotional bus company, for their Multiply journey.
Multiply, an initiative by the government, assists adults in enhancing their numeracy abilities and comprehending their application in everyday activities both at home and in the workplace.
Throughout the Multiply journey, the double-decker bus has functioned as a focal point for community interaction in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, stopping at notable sites including Cambridge Retail Park, Imperial War Museum Duxford, and in Ely and Wisbech.
This bus acts as a travelling educational centre, offering interactive experiences and learning materials to aid adults in improving their numeracy skills and building confidence in their everyday usage.
Customised for the tour’s specific requirements, this double-decker from Roadshow Promotions’ modular promotional fleet features both external and internal branding, a seating arrangement conducive to learning, and a hospitality and kitchen area to cater to visitors.
The bus’s modular nature has facilitated rapid reconfiguration during tour intermissions, ensuring its efficient and speedy preparation for subsequent campaign stages.
Runway Training is committed to helping adult learners acquire new skills and qualifications. The Multiply journey, led by this bus, aims to bring these opportunities directly into local communities. Through accessible and engaging activities, Runway Training aspires to boost individuals’ confidence and proficiency in numeracy.
Martin Bartlam, Head of Business Development at Runway Training, expressed his enthusiasm: “We are excited to bring our Multiply tour to Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, where we can connect with individuals in the community and provide valuable support for enhancing their numeracy skills. Our goal is to make numeracy more approachable and relevant to people’s lives, and we are thrilled to be able to do so in such a dynamic and engaging way.”
The initiative has garnered positive responses, attracting a diverse range of visitors to the educational bus, including representatives from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), local councillors, Chamber of Commerce officials, and members of the public who are typically hard to reach.
The wide variety of visitors underscores the extensive appeal and significance of Runway Training’s Multiply journey, highlighting the value of numeracy skills. The promotional bus tour has proven effective in reaching diverse audiences and creating a substantial impact in the visited regions.
Natasha Greenley, a Director of Roadshow Promotions, shared her enthusiasm about the campaign: “Runway Training are a long-standing customer, and we recognise their innovative approach to training.
