LONGi, a leading solar technology company, has announced the appointment of Ross Kent as the new General Manager for the UK and Ireland. In this role, Kent will oversee the company’s distributed generation and C&I business, with a focus on driving growth, strengthening customer relationships, and introducing new module and solar technology innovations, including LONGi’s high-performance back contact technology, HPBC.
Kent brings over 13 years of experience in the solar industry to his new role. Prior to joining LONGi in Europe, he spent more than 10 years at Hanwha Q Cells, where he served as the Head of Sales for the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia for the past four years.
