Regen Exhibition and Conference will now fall under the The Mark Allen Group umbrella.
The conference and networking event has been purchased from Eton Events for an undisclosed fee.
Regan is renowned for taking on the issues of urban and rural regeneration and the first event under its new owners will take place in St George’s Hall, Liverpool on November 2nd and 3rd.
This is a welcome return for the popular occasion, which had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic in 2021.
Describing the event, Mark Allen Group stated that “Regen addresses the issues of urban and rural regeneration, policy and implementation, attracting leading company exhibitors and conference participants engaged in this vital field”.
MA Business will manage the event, with Managing Director, Jon Benson taking on a leading role. Mark Allen Group CEO, Ben Allen, showed his support for Benson, stating that he believes they have the best team for the project.
He said: “With Jon Benson – and his team – leading the charge there is no one more suited to ensuring that Regen becomes the byword for regeneration not only in Liverpool but in other parts of the country.”
Executive chairman Mark Allen also discussed the event’s potential.
He added: “Regen presents a golden opportunity for us… We now want to take Regen to the next level.”
This year’s Regan event will be the seventh in its history.
