Refurbished Café Reopens Inside JB Furniture Wakefield Showroom

Last Updated on: 7th April 2025, 04:40 pm

The café located inside JB Furniture’s Wakefield showroom has reopened to the public following a stylish redesign. Now featuring a refreshed interior and updated menu, the café offers visitors a tranquil space to enjoy freshly made food and drinks within the sophisticated setting of one of Yorkshire’s most renowned home and garden furniture showrooms.

The relaunch is part of JB Furniture’s ongoing mission to enhance the overall customer experience. The café has been reimagined as a welcoming, comfortable hub that reflects the high-end design and curated style of the surrounding showroom. A blend of modern updates and timeless charm, the space is intended to be much more than a shopping stop—it’s designed to stand alone as a destination.

Dave Sadler, owner of JB Furniture, sees the café as an integral part of the in-store journey.
“Our cafe is more than just a place to grab a bite – it’s an extension of our vision for JB Furniture. We want to create a space where customers can feel inspired, whether they’re exploring our collections or enjoying a peaceful moment in a relaxed setting with a cup of coffee & cake. We’re excited to welcome everyone back to JB’s Cafe”, said Dave.

The café’s updated menu features a thoughtful mix of classic favourites and locally sourced indulgences. Customers can enjoy expertly made coffees, luxurious hot chocolates, speciality teas, and chilled drinks. Food options include artisan-style sandwiches, hearty breakfasts, and irresistible baked goods such as Blond & Brown Brownies—a local favourite that reflects JB Furniture’s strong support for regional producers.

With flexible seating, free Wi-Fi, and a peaceful atmosphere, the café is equally suited to informal meetings, social catch-ups, or solo downtime. Its interior design invites guests to relax and enjoy their surroundings, enhancing the showroom experience as a whole.

Open from Tuesday to Saturday, the newly reopened café welcomes all visitors to Wakefield—whether they’re shopping for home furnishings or simply in search of a welcoming space for a drink and bite to eat.
