Maschinenfabrik KRONE, a leading manufacturer of forage harvesting technology, has announced a strategic partnership with technology company recalm. The partnership aims to improve health and comfort for drivers while reducing dangerous noise levels in the driver’s cab. As part of the partnership, KRONE has also invested in recalm through Silver Crown Capital.
Through recalm’s unique Active Noise Cancelling technology, called ANCOR, drivers can experience reduced noise levels and a new level of entertainment, communication, and comfort in the cab. The ANCOR system is retrofittable and installed on the headrest, utilizing multiple microphones and speakers. The microphones record ambient noise, while the speakers emit anti-phase sound signals, canceling out low-frequency noises.
One of the key features of ANCOR is that it works without headphones, creating a “quiet zone” of 20 to 30 centimeters in diameter around the driver’s head. This significantly reduces machine noise and promotes a healthier and more comfortable environment for the driver.
“We are excited to partner with recalm to revolutionize comfort and communication in the driver’s cab and reduce unhealthy noise levels for drivers,” said Guido Ringling, Managing Director of Silver Crown Capital.
Recalm’s mission is to transform noise into sound and improve the quality of life. The company produces communication systems with the groundbreaking ANCOR technology, which reduces dangerous noise levels by over 50%. ANCOR is used in heavy machinery, automobiles, and aircraft.
Maschinenfabrik KRONE, a world-renowned manufacturer of forage harvesting technology, offers a product portfolio that includes forage harvesters and high-performance mower conditioners.
