The partnership between P3 and Google will strengthen the certification process for Android Automotive In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems. To release an IVI system with Google apps and services in a vehicle, OEMs must meet specific compatibility and quality standards and acquire the necessary certifications from Google.
P3 Group will execute a wide range of tests, including the Compatibility Test Suite (CTS), Vendor Test Suite (VTS), and Security Test Suite (STS), among others, to ensure compliance with Google’s standards. The company will also provide support to OEMs in resolving any issues found during the testing process.
