Jasmine Teaa, a 26-year-old model, has effectively countered the backlash she faced after her expulsion from her college sorority due to her successful online modelling. Overcoming harsh judgements and loss of friendships, Jasmine has not only built a thriving career but also found true acceptance.
Her path began in college when she started posting daring content online to afford her course fees. This choice, however, resulted in disagreements with friends and estrangement from her family. Nonetheless, Jasmine remained determined to pursue her passion and build her business. “I definitely considered stopping,” Jasmine acknowledged. “There was so much stigma around my job, but I really do enjoy the work and being my own boss.”
Now a self-made millionaire with a substantial following of over 600,000 on Instagram (@jasteaa), Jasmine has formed meaningful friendships within her industry. “I’ve made a lot of new friends in the industry,” she remarked. “At the end of the day, we all face the same stigma, so we’re in this together.”
