Red Bull Basement is doing its best to create an environment for international students to thrive, with NTT furthering its support for this epic initiative.
The Red Bull Basement empowers young people to kickstart their careers and make a positive change, with this year’s edition seeing participants from 45 different countries bringing their ideas together for a global final. Here, participants will look to find solutions to issues based on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
NTT has strengthened their link with the project by delivering hybrid experiences to participants, which include excellent mentoring programmes which wouldn’t be available otherwise.
A statement detailing the partnership revealed that NTT will be providing services that “that combine the best of in-person and virtual experiences, mentorship, and detailed insights into the world of data-driven technology.”
Marisa Jansen van Vuuren, Senior Vice President: Brand and Major Programmes at NTT, discussed their involvement. She said: “Innovation is part of our organization’s DNA, the NTT Group invests $3.6 billion every year into researching new technologies that will change the world for the better.
“Supporting initiatives like Red Bull Basement gives us an opportunity to inspire students to pursue careers where they, too, can follow their passions to make a real difference in the world.”
With the coronavirus changing the world of live events, NTT’s association with Red Bull Basement is vital, showcasing how virtual and hybrid events can break down location-specific barriers.
