Fast-growing Costa Coffee and Pita Pit franchisee, Sim Trava, will be adding a trio of new Costa outlets to its existing 26 store portfolio, creating 25 jobs in the process.
The £12.75 million business will be opening three new stores over the next few weeks – with two opening in the Fulwood and Buckshaw Village areas of Lancashire, and the third in Monton, in the Eccles area of Greater Manchester.
The openings will be the first three of several, with Sim Trava setting its sights on even further growth throughout the course of 2017 as it aims to open its 34th store before the year end.
The family-run franchisee business is headed up by husband and wife team Simon and Tracy Vardy, and has been growing steadily over the last number of years, having hit turnover of approximately £12.75 million in 2016, up from £10.1 million in 2015. The business is on track to hit the £20 million turnover mark by 2018.
Commenting on the new store openings, director Tracy Vardy said:
“It’s an exciting time for all of us here at Sim Trava as we gear up to open three new stores and build upon our existing Costa Coffee estate. These are the first three of many Sim Trava stores that we’ll be opening throughout 2017 and we’re really looking forward to seeing what lies ahead for our business.
“It’s also been great to create a buzz in the local communities of Fulwood, Buckshaw Village and Monton by bringing Costa Coffee to their doorstep. We’re passionate about creating local jobs for local people and are delighted to be growing our Sim Trava family again – welcoming new faces into the business. We’ll also be recruiting apprentices in these new stores so for anyone interested – keep an eye on our website for upcoming opportunities.”
