New West Norfolk Spa Facility Receives £2.5 Million Investment from FFOLKES

Ffolkes, a unique hotel and dining destination in Hillington, Norfolk, has recently announced a significant investment of £2.5 million in the development of a state-of-the-art spa facility. The spa is set to open in late summer 2025 and is expected to enhance the guest experience and boost local employment.

The Ffolkes Spa will offer a luxurious retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation, featuring an extensive thermal experience with five hot tubs, three saunas, and three steam rooms. The facility will also include various relaxation spaces, treatment rooms, and a lounge and bar, making it the largest and best-equipped spa in Norfolk.

According to a 2023 report, the UK Spa Market was valued at £3.1 billion and is projected to reach £5.7 billion by 2032. Ffolkes’ new spa facility is strategically positioned to meet this growing demand, providing a leading wellness destination in Norfolk and East Anglia.

In addition to the spa, twelve of Ffolkes’ bedrooms will have direct access, further enhancing the guest experience. This will also complement the recently-opened Spa Cabins with private hot tub and sauna facilities. The development is expected to create new job opportunities in the community, including positions for reception staff, spa attendants, cleaners, and therapists.

“We are thrilled to introduce this exciting new offering to Ffolkes and the Norfolk community,” said Iain Wilson, Owner of Ffolkes. “Having successfully operated a spa at The Pigs in Edgefield since 2017, this investment showcases our dedication to providing top-notch spa experiences for our guests, supporting local employment, and catering to the increasing demand for wellness experiences, particularly in the East Anglia region.”

The new spa will also offer exclusive day guest access to Norfolk Passport holders. Norfolk Passport is a free membership program that provides exclusive perks at leading Norfolk experiences, including The Pigs at Edgefield, Byfords of Holt, The Assembly House in Norwich, Shirehall Apartments in Holt, and Beachside Apartments in Sheringham.
