Facing the escalating issue of fuel poverty and its impact on staff morale, the experts at Residential Energy Services (RES) have rolled out their new Workplace Energy Advice programme.
Endorsed by The Department of Energy Security & Net Zero and Midlands Net Zero Hub, the programme is crafted to provide employees with flexible access to energy support, aiming to improve energy efficiency at both work and home.
This completely funded programme is accessible for free and is tailored specifically for employees in the manufacturing, production, and retail sectors who might struggle with accessing community advice due to non-standard shift patterns or limited access to technology and resources.
The advisory service is customised to suit the specific needs of different businesses and their employees’ work patterns, ensuring that it does not interrupt the work process. It features “drop-in” workshops, consultations, and pop-up services in common areas, all designed to blend effortlessly with employees’ usual work schedules.
The programme offers advice on reducing energy consumption and waste, details on energy-saving technologies such as insulation and air source heat pumps, and personalised sessions to explore funding eligibility, EPCs, and other inquiries regarding home energy efficiency improvements.
“This unique service from RES empowers employers to provide tangible guidance and support to employees to drive forward their commitment to sustainability,” commented Sarah Parry, Managing Director of Residential Energy Services.
Since its inception in 2014, RES has been committed to promoting energy subsidy awareness and providing advisory services to over 20,000 UK households, focusing on education around energy-saving measures and guiding customers from initial consultation through to installation.
