“New Charity Initiative Launches Diwali E-Cards to Support Poverty Alleviation”

Online Greetings Card Website Launches Diwali 2024 Collection to Support Water Poverty Alleviation Charity

Wednesday 23 October, 2024 – The popular online greetings card website, which raises funds exclusively for the water poverty alleviation charity, Hope Spring, has announced the launch of its Diwali 2024 online greeting cards. In a blog post, the charity shared that eight new Diwali e-cards have been added to its collection. This yearly tradition not only provides people celebrating the important Hindu holiday with the opportunity to send greetings to loved ones around the world, but also supports the work of Hope Spring.

The new Diwali e-cards are themed around “festival: lights” and feature traditional Hindu wishes and greetings. Some designs have been specifically created to appeal to audiences in the UK. Users can personalize, address, and send the e-cards via email or share them on WhatsApp. The final designs were developed in collaboration with the charity’s partner, Charity eCards UK.

Seun Olonade, a volunteer and platform manager for Hope Spring eCards, shared her thoughts on the new designs, stating, “We used elements of AI in our new Diwali greeting card designs, which allowed us to come up with innovative concepts.” She further added, “I hope that those who celebrate Diwali will visit our website to send one or more of the new e-cards to their family or friends. They can either send a Diwali card for free or make a donation.”

In the past, Diwali e-cards sent by users of the platform have made a significant contribution to the organization’s water poverty alleviation project funds. The new Diwali greeting e-cards, along with those from previous years, can be viewed and sent from the Hope Spring eCards website.
