French Students Take Part in Educational Trip on Loch Lomond
On Thursday 29th February 2024, a group of 50 French students embarked on a day trip that involved a cruise on Loch Lomond to Inversnaid, followed by a guided walking tour along part of the famous West Highland Way.
The students were accommodated by Cruise Loch Lomond for their return trip to Inversnaid and were pleased with their Loch Lomond experience. Cruise Loch Lomond is known for providing loch cruises for approximately 30 international school groups annually, as well as local school groups to the beautiful Inchcailloch.
Accompanying the group on the boat trip was John Urquhart, Chair of the charity Friends of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs, and expert local guide from Loch Lomond Guides. John provided the group with valuable information on various topics, including the role of the National Park and the importance of preserving and appreciating the environment.
The day proved to be a great success and was enjoyed by all involved.
