Last Updated on: 12th July 2024, 07:39 am

Miniatura, the internationally acclaimed dolls’ house exhibition that has celebrated miniature artistry for more than four decades, is set to achieve a remarkable milestone with its 100th event. This notable exhibition will take place on the 14th and 15th of September 2024 at Stoneleigh Park NAEC.

Since its inception, Miniatura has been a premier event for miniature aficionados, displaying the best in small-scale artistry. The 100th exhibition will include the usual blend of expert artists and passionate amateurs, showcasing some of the world’s finest modelling techniques.

To celebrate this special milestone, numerous exhibitors have planned thrilling events and displays. Key highlights include Jane Laverick from Warwick, UK, who will be offering a free (mini) slice of cake to the first 100 customers each day. Kim Murdoch has journeyed from Australia to present her exquisite dolls, while David Bishop will be available to provide expert advice on wiring dolls’ houses. Additionally, Leo from Entranced Glassworks will conduct the show’s first-ever glass blowing demonstration.

Attendees can look forward to enjoying top-quality miniatures, meeting the artists, and experiencing various special events. The show promises abundant public seating and wide aisles, ensuring a comfortable and pleasurable visit.

Situated just south of Coventry, Stoneleigh Park NAEC is easily reachable from all parts of the UK. There is extensive free parking, and a free shuttle bus service will operate from Coventry train station directly to the event venue.

Andy Hopwood, the organiser of Miniatura, shared his excitement about the forthcoming show: “It is such a privilege to be able to promote the work of so many talented makers. The miniatures are obviously what visitors come to see but it’s the people that truly make this such a special show. It really is the smiling faces that makes it all worthwhile.”
