London’s Revolutionary ‘Experience Week’ Takes the Fashion World by Storm

London set to host the world’s first city-wide celebration of the booming Experience Economy during London Experience Week (LXW), from April 28 to May 2, 2025. Supported by London & Partners and produced by the World Experience Organization (WXO), this event marks a turning point in human history as the focus shifts from selling products to providing unforgettable experiences.

The Experience Economy, valued at £134 billion, surpasses the fashion industry’s contribution of £62 billion to the UK economy. Despite this, experiences have often been overlooked in favor of tangible goods. However, with the launch of LXW, this industry is finally getting the recognition it deserves.

“The sleeping giant is waking up. The Experience Economy just got its first catwalk—and its first capital: London,” says James Wallman, Founder of the World Experience Organization (WXO).

London & Partners Director of Destination, Simon McCaugherty, also expresses his excitement for the event, stating, “London is a welcoming test bed for experience creators, operators, and brands thanks to the international talent working here, a wide array of incredible venues, cutting edge technology start-ups, and lower start-up and operating costs than many other major global cities.”

LXW is not just for brands stuck in the past, but for those looking to build the future. With key players such as Winston Fisher (Fisher Brothers), Laika O’Brien (former Creative Director, Meow Wolf), and Heather Gallagher (former Head of Tech, Burning Man) in attendance, this event promises to be a transformative experience for the industry.

Attendees can expect behind-the-scenes access to the most innovative experiences, a ‘United Nations’ of experience creators sharing bold ideas, and the World Experience Summit featuring industry-defining conversations. Brands, creators, and visionaries are invited to participate in this unique opportunity to be a part of the rapidly evolving Experience Economy.

With over 1,000 members across 40+ countries, WXO offers membership, exclusive summits, thought leadership, and a dynamic community of creators.
