Age Concern Hampshire is pleased to announce the launch of their festive campaign, “Let’s Spread Cheer into the New Year,” which aims to bring attention to the essential work of the charity in supporting and connecting with older people. The campaign also highlights the positive impact the charity’s services have had on not just the older individuals themselves, but also on their families and caregivers.
The primary focus of this year’s campaign is to garner support from the public and corporate partners to ensure the continuity of the charity’s mission well into 2025 and beyond. Donations received through the campaign will enable Age Concern Hampshire to continue providing vital services and spreading cheer to even more older people in the coming year.
Through a collection of images and highlights from the past year, the campaign will showcase the critical role of Age Concern Hampshire services in delivering essential support and spreading joy to older people, especially during the holiday season when they may feel particularly isolated.
Age Concern Hampshire offers a range of services, including dementia support at their Care & Wellbeing Centres, assistance with transitioning from hospital through the Hospital to Home Service, various social groups, and community initiatives.
Hannah Park, Head of Operations at Age Concern Hampshire, stated, “Our services are crucial in ensuring that older people feel supported and valued throughout the year. With the support of public and corporate donations, we can continue to bring joy and comfort into their lives, not just during Christmas but also in the years to come.”
Individuals, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to support the “Let’s Spread Cheer into the New Year” campaign by donating through the charity’s JustGiving page. Age Concern Hampshire is also open to partnering with local sponsors for the campaign. All contributions will directly support the charity’s services, allowing them to continue providing care, companionship, and support to older people in need. Donations can be made through Age Concern Hampshire’s JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/xmas24 or by reaching out to the Fundraising team at supporters@ageconcernhampshire.org.uk to discuss sponsorship opportunities.
