On Monday 14 August, 2023, the Young Social Reformers Sports Foundation Pakistan and the Cricket School of Pakistan jointly organized a U-10 and U-16 cricket tournament, titled Jashan-E-Azadi.
Syed Faizan Hussain, President of the Young Social Reformers Sports Foundation, praised the efforts of Mr Khan Sher, Mr Rafay and the whole team of the Cricket School of Pakistan for organizing such a wonderful event and wished them the best of luck for future endeavors. He then went on to announce the upcoming international sports activities of the Young Social Reformers Sports Foundation and Pakistan Wheel Chair Cricket Team.
Mr. Zubair Ahmed Ansari, Secretary General of the Young Social Reformers Sports Foundation, discussed the importance of improving the domestic cricket system, as new players are not getting the proper opportunities to play and learn cricket. He also stated that the YSR Sports Foundation will be establishing cricket academies all over Pakistan in collaboration with the Cricket School of Pakistan.
Syed Faraz Liaquat, Senior Vice President of the Young Social Reformers Sports Foundation, highlighted the need to empower youth through sports. He said that the Young Social Reformers Sports Foundation will always support the Cricket School of Pakistan in organizing such beneficial activities for the youth of Pakistan.
The tournament was attended by a number of representatives from the Young Social Reformers Sports Foundation, including Syed Faizan Hussain, President; Mr. Zubair Ahmed Ansari, Secretary General; Syed Faraz Liaquat, Senior Vice President; Ms. Tayyaba Khan, Director General of Public Relation; Ms. Fatima Faisal, Vice President 1 (Sindh); Ms. Mubashera Majid, Vice President 3 (Balochistan); Mr. Khan Sher, Chairman of Secretariat; Mr. Ali, Executive Officer.
