Jackery and PlugVan Partner to Create Campervans in Just Five Minutes Using Traditional Panel Vans

Last Updated on: 22nd November 2023, 07:30 pm

Jackery, the global leader in innovative portable power and green energy solutions, has announced a partnership with Berlin-based company PlugVan. PlugVan supply sustainable units to the UK and across Europe, transforming traditional panel vans into fully-fledged camper vans in just five minutes, with the Jackery PowerStation aboard to provide reliable green energy.

Ricky Ma, Head of EMEA at Jackery, said: “We are delighted to work with PlugVan, providing reliable energy to those looking to convert their existing panel van. Jackery provides sustainable, green energy on the go and PlugVan customers can now power their camper or office modules as they travel.”

Florian Fey, Managing Director of PlugVan, added: “The power stations can be purchased for each module, be it residential, workshop or office, with no limits. In addition, we also offer the matching Jackery solar panels for charging the Jackery units, harnessing the power of the sun.”

Behind the doors of the van are benches that can be converted into a bed, a multifunctional table, drawers for luggage, a dishwasher, and a gas cooker. It can be used as a mobile workshop, a mobile office, or a logistics solution in addition to a campervan.

The combination of a converted van and the Jackery units not only meet all requirements for comfort and flexibility, but it also offers a high level of sustainability. While the versatility of the delivery van means that it can be used for several purposes and prevents numerous vehicles from having to be purchased, Jackery’s power stations can be charged by harnessing the power of the sun with solar panels.

Jackery has received carbon footprint verification from TÜV SÜD and achieved the international standard ISO 14067:2018. The company has sold over 3 million units globally since 2018 and has been recognised by over 200 authorised media and organisations worldwide, receiving over 50 prestigious international design awards.

Jackery’s mission is to provide green energy to everyone, everywhere and has fulfilled its social responsibility on a global scale by maintaining long-term cooperation with global public welfare organisations such as WWF, NFF and IRC, contributing its strength and value to boost global sustainable development and other public welfare.

On Thursday 17 August 2023, Jackery announced its partnership with Berlin-based company PlugVan, which supply sustainable units to the UK and across Europe. The units convert traditional panel vans into fully-fledged camper vans in just five minutes, with the Jackery PowerStation aboard to provide reliable green energy. With a Jackery unit integrated into the PlugVan module, customers are able to power built-in electronics such as lamps and water pumps, as well as external components including laptops and coolers. The combination of a converted van and the Jackery units not only meet all requirements for comfort and flexibility, but it also offers a high level of sustainability.
