New Stainless Mixing Bowl Handling Attachment Now Available from Packline Materials Handling
Tuesday 7 May, 2024 – Packline Materials Handling, a leading provider of lifting and handling equipment, is pleased to announce the launch of their latest product – a new stainless mixing bowl handling attachment. This innovative solution was specifically designed in response to a customer enquiry from the food processing industry. The attachment is designed to lift and forward tilt mixing bowls of processed meat in a clean room environment, reducing the need for manual handling and ensuring a hygienic process.
Constructed from high-quality stainless steel, this handling solution is ideal for clean room high care environments, such as those found in the food, drinks, pharmaceutical, and medical industries. The bespoke bowl tipper was initially created to suit a specific bowl, but can be tailored to lift and tilt a wide range of different types of mixing bowls commonly used in the food processing industry.
The attachment securely holds the bowls by the handles using a latch mechanism. Four latches located on the attachment arms grip the mixing bowl for secure transportation and controlled forward tipping for easy emptying of the contents. The latch mechanism also enables safe and easy loading and unloading of the mixing bowl, minimizing the need for manual handling.
Featuring an electric forward tipping action, this attachment allows for easy and controlled emptying of ingredients into a hopper. The lifting and lowering actions are powered by a battery-operated mechanism, which can be operated using simple ‘up and down’ buttons located ergonomically on the machine’s handlebars. The slow start feature provides precise and accurate positioning when docking, loading, and unloading, making operation even easier for the user.
This lifter is suitable for the food industry and other hygienic applications. Packline offers a full bespoke design service, ensuring that the right solution can be made to suit various applications and requirements. Additionally, all Packline attachments are interchangeable and can be easily fixed or removed from any model of ‘Compac’ lifting machine fitted with the quick release system.
With a lift capacity of 100kg and a maximum lift height of 2167mm, this attachment is designed to provide strength, durability, and improved wear resistance, as well as ease of use and safety. It is suitable for use in the food and drinks industry, as well as other hygienic applications.
The compact framework and positioning of handlebars, along with the optional remote-control device, provide improved manoeuvrability and ease of use for the operator. The small footprint of this handling equipment makes it highly manoeuvrable, making it a perfect choice for narrow production lines and demanding lifting requirements.
