Mark Allen Group Completes Acquisition of EG Media Assets from LexisNexis Risk Solutions
London, Friday 31 January, 2025 – The Mark Allen Group is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of certain media assets of EG from LexisNexis Risk Solutions, a division of RELX Group.
The first issue of the 166-year-old title, under the new ownership, will be published on Saturday, February 1, 2025. The magazine will revert back to its original name, Estates Gazette, which has been a highly respected and successful brand in B2B publishing.
This acquisition marks the beginning of a transformational journey for Estates Gazette. Under the editorial leadership of Tim Burke, the magazine will undergo a complete relaunch on April 5, 2025, with a new look and innovative ideas.
One of the key changes will be the launch of a new subscription website, www.estatesgazette.co.uk, which will provide comprehensive news and legal coverage, as well as in-depth features and analysis of the UK commercial property market. The website is set to launch before April 30, 2025.

The magazine will now be published by MA Business, under the leadership of Managing Director Jon Benson, who reports directly to Ben Allen.
