intec Gesellschaft für Informationstechnik mbH, a German innovator in telecommunications measurement technology, will be showcasing their ARGUS® brand multifunction testers at the ANGA COM in Cologne this year. Europe’s leading business platform for broadband and content providers, the event will be held from May 23-25.
The ARGUS® F240, a new compact fiber tester, will be presented at the event. It is capable of testing GPON and XGS-PON connections, and features a touchscreen-based operation for convenience. A 5-fold power meter can be switched into existing PON connections in through mode, allowing optical levels to be determined simultaneously on various downstream and upstream wavelengths for GPON, XGS-PON and video overlays. It can also read PON ID from the PLOAM message.
The ARGUS® F240 has several other test functions, such as WLAN analyzer, triple play tests, upload/download, ping, traceroute, iperf and IP speed tests. It can also be used to detect alien ONTs using the SFP slot, and provides a Fiber-Inspection-Tool via USB to detect scratches and defects on optical fibers.
At ANGA COM, intec will display the ARGUS® F240 and other multifunction testers at Hall 7, Booth F44. Image material is available upon request by email.
