KODA Studios, specialists in bespoke-made wooden furniture design and manufacture, have placed sustainability at the forefront of their service offering since their inception. To further their efforts in helping to protect the environment, the Yorkshire-based company have partnered with One Tree Planted to plant a tree for every furniture or lighting piece sold.
KODA Studios Managing Director Jamie said, “Working with One Tree Planted is a great fit for KODA. Sustainability is at the core of our business model, through sustainable design and material selection, it’s great to have another way to give back and help the environment.”
The collaboration with One Tree Planted comes as the organisation more than doubled their impact from 2021 to 2022, planting 52.7 million trees. KODA Studios have also always held the motto – “buy well and buy once” – producing pieces that are long-lasting and minimise waste. Every furniture piece they construct is sourced from timber accredited by the Forest Stewardship Council or Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification.
