Hope Spring, a clean water advocacy charity based in Herefordshire, announced the launch of their annual Mother’s Day fundraiser on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024. The charity, which aims to provide clean water to communities in need, raises funds through its charity eCard platform. Users of the platform can send personalized digital greetings cards and make a donation to the charity.
According to Temi Odurinde, the creator of the platform and a trustee of Hope Spring, the organization has added graphic design volunteers to their team. These new volunteers have a particular interest in designing animated eCards and videos, which will be the focus of their 2024 Mother’s Day fundraiser. Odurinde also mentioned that the charity has partnered with Ozami digital greetings, a company specializing in video eCards. This collaboration, along with the new volunteers, will provide a wide variety of animated and video eCards for people to choose from when sending Hope Spring eCards this Mother’s Day.
One of the new innovations added by Ozami to the Hope Spring eCard platform is the option to send eCards via WhatsApp. Previously, eCards could only be sent via email. Now, users can share the eCards on WhatsApp, making it easier to send greetings to loved ones. Mother’s Day in the UK falls on Sunday, March 10th, and visitors to the Hope Spring platform on that day will be able to send digital greetings to their mothers or mother figures while also making a donation to water poverty alleviation.
