Herefordshire’s water poverty alleviation charity, Hope Spring, has announced the release of their highly anticipated Ramadan 2024 charity eCards. The NGO utilizes their innovative platform, Hope Spring eCards, to raise funds for their water, sanitation, and hygiene advocacy projects.
This initiative was first introduced by the charity as a way to create Eid Fitr eCards for the Muslim community, celebrating the end of the holy month of Ramadan. These Ramadan eCards have proven to be a valuable tool in expressing congratulations and well wishes to fellow Muslims.
The newly launched collection of eCards by Hope Spring consists of six animated and six static designs, totaling to twelve unique options. The majority of these eCards feature popular Ramadan greetings such as “Ramadan Kareem” and “Happy Eid”. According to Seun Olonade, the platform manager for Hope Spring, the addition of these eCards brings the total number of Ramadan greetings on their platform to over fifty. This is a significant achievement and solidifies their position as the UK’s leading charity eCard site for Ramadan greetings.
Hope Spring’s eCard platform was established six years ago and has since become one of the charity’s primary sources of fundraising. The platform sees a surge in donations during various holidays and events, including Christmas, Ramadan, and other festivals.
Temi Odurinde, a trustee for Hope Spring, shared that out of the two major Islamic festivals observed in the UK, Eid Fitr and Eid Adha, Eid Fitr is typically the busiest on their platform. He added that the addition of new eCards to their Ramadan range is expected to attract even more users this year.
