Hertford’s Ginger Bar & Restaurant Takes Home ARTA 2024 Award for Hertfordshire’s Best Restaurant

The 2024 Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards (ARTA) held its highly anticipated ceremony on October 6th at the Royal Lancaster in London. The prestigious event, attended by esteemed guests including celebrities, dignitaries, and industry leaders, celebrates the best of Pan Asian cuisine in the UK.

After a rigorous selection process which included customer nominations, review scores, and food hygiene ratings, Ginger Bar & Restaurant was crowned the coveted “Hertfordshire Restaurant of the Year” title. The restaurant stood out among fierce competition and was recognized for its exceptional cuisine and commitment to excellence.

ARTA founder Mohammed Munim expressed his congratulations to all the winners and finalists, acknowledging their unwavering dedication and passion for delivering unparalleled flavors and dining experiences to customers across the nation. He also recognized the event’s esteemed guests for their presence, emphasizing that the Pan Asian culinary industry represents the beauty and strength of multiculturalism in the UK.

Among the guests was chief red carpet guest Patsy Kensit, who spoke about her delight in being a part of ARTA 2024 and celebrating the talent and passion of the chefs in attendance. Cambridge Regional College & ARTA Ambassador Graham Taylor also shared his pride in being a part of the event and working with talented chefs who continue to deliver exceptional cuisine.

The ceremony was hosted by TV presenters Samantha Simmonds and Richard Jones, with entertainment provided by singers Muza and Rubayyat Jahan. The diverse guest list also included notable figures such as actress and singer Patsy Kensit, professional boxer Julius Francis, singer and songwriter Leila Russack, model Jackie St Clair, and CEO of NTV Europe Subrina Hussain.
