Hampshire’s Age Concern Broadens Services to Aid More Needy Individuals

Age Concern Hampshire, a local charity dedicated to supporting older adults in Hampshire, has announced the expansion of its Help at Home service to Andover, Basingstoke, Locks Heath, Havant, and neighboring areas. The expansion is aimed at reaching more individuals who are struggling with daily chores due to reduced mobility, higher fall risks, or declining health.

The Help at Home service provides practical, day-to-day support to older adults, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. With the expansion, Age Concern Hampshire aims to assist a greater number of individuals and ensure that those in need receive the help and support they deserve.

To support this expansion, Age Concern Hampshire is actively seeking compassionate individuals to join its team of Home Helpers. These roles provide personalized assistance with tasks such as housework, laundry, meal preparation, shopping, and outings, while also offering valuable companionship to older adults.

Hannah Park, Head of Operations at Age Concern Hampshire, stated, “Our Home Helpers play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of older adults in our communities. Their dedication and compassion are invaluable in providing essential support and companionship to those who need it most. We are actively seeking individuals who share our commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of older adults in Hampshire.”

Age Concern Hampshire is currently looking for new Home Helpers to join their teams in North and South Hampshire.
