Last Updated on: 8th October 2024, 04:08 pm

The space sector is rapidly evolving, yet it remains an unfamiliar territory for many investors. This has left many visionary entrepreneurs struggling to secure the funding they need to propel their groundbreaking ideas forward. In response, the UK Space Agency is pleased to announce the relaunch of the Fusion Connect with Capital Programme, designed to help space entrepreneurs secure investment in as little as six months. The initiative is part of the UK Space Agency’s broader effort to foster innovation and boost investment in the nation’s burgeoning space sector.

Partnering with Entrepreneurial Spark and Exotopic, the UK Space Agency will support a new cohort of the UK’s most promising space startups by providing them with exceptional access to both business and technical expertise. The programme includes tailored one-on-one coaching with leading investment professionals, immersive workshops, and an intensive boot camp, all aimed at enhancing participants’ investor pitches and helping them prepare to raise up to £2 million in pre-seed and seed funding.

The programme will culminate in an exclusive Demo Day, where entrepreneurs will have the chance to pitch their investment-ready businesses to a select group of angel investors, venture capitalists, and industry stakeholders.

Portia Bircher, Business Support and Growth Manager at the UK Space Agency, remarked: “After successfully supporting 13 space startups in our first edition, we’re excited to broaden our impact by supporting a new cohort and strengthening the entire space startup ecosystem.”

Mike Stephens, CEO of Entrepreneurial Spark, said: “This programme is a fantastic opportunity to empower the growing space sector. Together with the UK Space Agency and Exotopic, we aim to cultivate a dynamic environment where businesses can raise capital and accelerate their innovations.”

Applications for the programme opened on 7th October 2024, and are open to startups leveraging or developing space technology, seeking to raise up to £2 million in investment. Don’t miss this opportunity to take your space venture to the next level.
