Fuel Ventures Invests £4M in Prosper to Revolutionize Wealth Management

Prosper, a wealth platform designed for high-net-worth individuals, has recently announced securing £4 million in new funding. The funding, led by Fuel Ventures, will allow Prosper to further expand its AI-powered investment services.

With over £200 million in assets currently under administration, Prosper is disrupting the traditional wealth management industry with its innovative approach. This includes cutting-edge AI features that provide a deeper understanding of one’s portfolio and aid in decision making, exclusive private market investments, and a seamless customer experience.

In a statement, CEO and Co-Founder Nick Perrett stated, “We’re done with hidden fees, clunky PDFs, and financial advice that serves the seller, not the client. Prosper is here to change the game by providing people with smarter, fairer, and more transparent options for growing their wealth.”

In addition to Fuel Ventures, 60 professional sportspeople from The Players Fund have also invested in Prosper’s latest round. This includes notable names such as England cricket captains Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler, Olympic and world champions Dame Jess Ennis-Hill and Dame Sarah Storey, gold medal cyclist Tom Pidcock, and footballers Ben White and Serge Gnabry from Arsenal and Bayern Munich, respectively.

Liverpool footballer Cody Gakpo also directly backed Prosper’s latest round, further solidifying the platform’s appeal to individuals who understand the value of smart financial management.

With support from founders of successful companies such as Monzo, Capital One, and Admiral, as well as top fintech investors, Prosper is on a mission to make wealth work harder for everyone. However, it should be noted that there is a risk of capital loss as investments can go down as well as up.
