Finatical Marks One Year of Empowering Young Adults with Free Financial Education

Last Updated on: 30th August 2024, 06:00 am

Finatical, a free platform dedicated to financial education, proudly celebrates its one-year anniversary, having launched in September 2023. Founded by George Rinaldi, Finatical has made notable strides in improving financial literacy among young adults throughout the UK. This milestone not only commemorates the platform’s successes but also sets the stage for future growth.

Since its launch, Finatical has focused on addressing the widespread challenge of financial jargon. Understanding the obstacles many people face when trying to grasp banking, investing, credit cards, and mortgages, Finatical has provided vital guidance to those seeking clarity and assurance. By offering free online guides, resources, and articles, Finatical turns complex financial topics into accessible and relatable content.

“The idea behind Finatical came from a training session on presentation skills at a former job,” says George Rinaldi, Founder of Finatical. “I scribbled down ‘help young people understand finance’ on a piece of A4 paper. That’s how Finatical was born and became what it is today.”

Finatical’s mission is clear: to make financial education a universal language. With the help of a committed team of writers, Finatical ensures that its content is always of the highest quality, offering valuable insights that truly connect with its audience.

“I want young adults to grow up to understand the world of finance, to be able to talk freely and openly about money,” George remarks. “In the UK, we have this taboo on speaking about these important topics, and I endeavour to help break down those barriers.”

As Finatical celebrates its first year, the platform is planning for the future. By the end of 2025, Finatical aims to be a go-to resource for students and young adults, accessible through both its website and social media platforms.

“My target is to work with charities, individuals, or otherwise, to help play our part in restructuring financial education,” George adds.

Finatical remains steadfast in its mission to make financial education engaging and accessible, as it embarks on its second year. The platform’s achievements over the past year are a testament to its impact, and the team at Finatical looks forward to building on this success.
