UK Men’s Shed Association Announces Finalists for Shed of the Year Awards 2024

London, UK – The UK Men’s Shed Association (UKMSA) has revealed the finalists for this year’s Shed of the Year Awards. The national award scheme, organized by UKMSA, recognizes outstanding groups and individuals who have made a significant impact in their Men’s Shed and local communities.

“We have received a record number of submissions this year, and the standard of entries has been exceptional. The finalists have truly showcased the incredible work they are doing in their communities,” said Rob Lloyd, chair of the Trustees of UKMSA.

The annual Shed of the Year Awards aims to shed light on the positive effects of Men’s Shed participation, including combating loneliness, social isolation, and improving physical and mental health. The finalists’ projects demonstrate the diversity, depth, and ingenuity of their work and the impact it has on both participants and the broader community.
