Faith goes global with six figure PR and content brief

Last Updated on: 22nd November 2023, 04:34 pm

A West Yorkshire PR agency has secured a significant account win working with a global energy management firm.

Faith PR, based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, will work with Kinect Energy to position it as a leader in the industry.

The agency has been appointed to deliver a global PR, social media and content programme for Kinect Energy, a division of World Fuel Services, and will oversee PR activity across the UK, US, the Nordics, Germany and France, working with local PR consultants in each country.

Launched in 2016, created from the acquisition of some of the world’s leading energy companies, Kinect Energy now has more than 2,500 clients in Europe and over 6,300 globally. It employs a team of more than 400 professional energy industry experts across its offices in the US, Europe and Asia – making it one of the top three energy management, procurement and fulfilment businesses in the world.

Faith PR has worked with Orchard Energy, which was bought out by Kinect Energy at the end of 2017, for nearly four years and was consequently invited to bid for the global PR contract.

Faith PR founder Stefanie Hopkins will head up the account together with Account Director Emily Raleigh.

Stefanie said: “This is a significant win for Faith and reaffirms our expertise within the energy sector. Having worked with Orchard Energy since 2015, I am delighted that Kinect Energy has chosen Faith PR to deliver all of its PR, social media and content as it looks to become a major player in the global energy management market.

“Kinect has ambitious growth plans and I look forward to raising awareness of the brand through a range of activity across its key territories.”

Richard Scott, Kinect Energy’s senior global marketing director added: “We look forward to strengthening our relationship with Faith PR in the coming months as the Kinect Energy grows to support new and existing clients around the world.

“We felt that Stefanie and her team were the best PR partner for us because of their proven experience in working in the energy sector to date and because of the detailed communications strategy they put together for this exciting new phase for Kinect Energy”.

Faith PR is an award-winning PR, social media and communications agency, working with local, national and international businesses across consumer and B2B sectors. The agency has recently added to its award-winning team with the appointment of two new full-time members of staff; Kate Wobschall joined as account manager and Gemma Birbeck has taken on the role of PR account executive.

Helping its clients buy better and buy less energy, Kinect Energy provides targeted energy management solutions and tailored support for organisations of every size focused on their energy goals, including price optimisation and risk management; regulatory and environmental opportunity realisation and compliance; and security and continuity of supply, including physical and commercial hedging.
