eXroid, a leading provider of non-invasive haemorrhoid treatments across the country, is pleased to introduce a new initiative aimed at enhancing healthcare access for individuals with limited mobility who find it difficult to attend clinic appointments.
This Autumn, we are launching an at-home haemorrhoid treatment service in London, led by our experienced nurse practitioner, Ms Charlene Fenton, who said: “Throughout my career, I have witnessed first-hand the struggles many face during this delicate time, and I believe in the importance of providing compassionate care and effective solutions for overall well-being.”
As part of our ongoing mission to make healthcare accessible to all, this initiative provides an innovative way to deliver care to those who need it most, directly in their homes.
The programme includes nurse-led services that offer pre-treatment consultations to assess patient suitability, followed by essential aftercare support and advice. This enables eXroid to provide its “life-changing” procedure in a home setting, removing the barriers of travel and clinic attendance.
“Healthcare is a fundamental right, and we believe that no one should be left behind due to physical or logistical barriers. This initiative is a significant step forward in our mission to provide accessible and equitable healthcare for all members of our community,” said Graham Bason, founder of eXroid and fellow haemorrhoid sufferer.
Did you know?
- Nearly 40% of seniors experience mobility challenges that prevent them from seeking early intervention and treatment due to difficulties in attending clinic appointments.
- The World Health Organisation reports that 20% of Europe’s population are registered as disabled. With these high figures, it is essential to act swiftly to ensure that this group has equal access to healthcare.
