On Saturday, October 28, 2023, Butser Ancient Farm in Waterlooville, Hampshire, will be hosting a remarkable evening of spine-tingling stories, enchanting melodies and an eerily immersive atmosphere in celebration of Halloween.

The event, aptly named “Fearsome Folktales and Enchanted Echoes”, will begin at 6:30 PM and run until 9:00 PM. Jason Buck, the enigmatic host for the evening, will lead attendees into the unknown with captivating narratives, while Andrew Shorter will bring the haunting saga of Glam’s Ghost from the Icelandic Saga of Grettir the Strong to life.

Adding to the mystical ambiance will be the enchanting sounds of fairy musicians from Fae as Folk, who will captivate guests with their haunting melodies on enchanted instruments.

The night promises more than just spooky stories and music. A bar will be available, featuring locally produced cider, mead and a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as snacks from the shop.
