Collaboration between Yanfeng and Trinseo aims to speed up recycling readiness for circular automotive interior materials

Neuss, Germany, and Pfaeffikon, Switzerland – Yanfeng, a leading global automotive supplier, and Trinseo, a specialty material solutions provider, have announced their partnership in developing circular automotive interior materials. This collaboration aims to meet the 2030 End-of-life-vehicle requirements and OEMs’ ambitions to achieve circular economy targets.

The partnership will focus on advanced mechanical recycling and dissolution process technology to accelerate the market launch of circular materials for automotive interiors. Both companies will work together to develop, produce, and commercialize these materials for future automotive applications.
