CIBSE Announces CIBSE Week 2024, a Premier Event for Building Services Engineering in Dubai
Dubai, UAE – CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers) has announced its highly anticipated CIBSE Week 2024, a five-day series of events dedicated to building services engineering. The event will take place from October 28 to November 1 in Dubai, and will feature a diverse range of activities focused on promoting sustainable building practices and innovative solutions for improved building performance.
CIBSE’s President, Fiona Cousins, and CEO, Ruth Carter, will play a leading role in the event, participating in various discussions and activities aimed at advancing the field of building services engineering in the region. Their visit will also include strategic collaborations with renowned universities, as well as high-level roundtable discussions with industry leaders to address issues related to climate resilience and sustainable building solutions.
The event will kick off with a series of conferences that will bring together key stakeholders in the industry to explore new approaches to retrofitting and climate resilience. One of the highlights of CIBSE Week 2024 will be the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with major industry partners, reaffirming CIBSE’s commitment to promoting sustainable building practices and driving progress in the GCC region.
The 6th Edition of the CIBSE Awards will also be a major feature of the event, honoring outstanding achievements in building services engineering across 29 competitive categories. With over 300 attendees expected, including top consultants, contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers, the CIBSE Awards will provide an unparalleled platform for networking and celebrating industry milestones.
