Last Updated on: 9th July 2024, 06:55 pm

The Marlborough Guild is delighted to announce the upcoming Christmas Masquerade Charity Ball on Friday, November 22nd, at the Wellington Barn near Calne. This magical evening is dedicated to supporting two outstanding local children’s charities: Julia’s House and Bridge for Young People (formerly Young People and Children First).

Julia’s House offers practical and emotional support for families caring for a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, providing regular and frequent assistance in their homes, within the community, or at their hospices. Through its compassionate services, Julia’s House brings comfort, respite, and joy to families facing unimaginable challenges.

Bridge for Young People, previously known as Young People and Children First, is committed to empowering young individuals facing adversity. By providing a home, emotional support, and practical help to young people leaving care or who are homeless, Bridge for Young People equips them with the tools and resources necessary to overcome obstacles during a crucial time as they transition to independence.

The Christmas Masquerade Charity Ball promises an enchanting evening, including welcome drinks upon arrival, a delicious three-course meal, a silent auction with incredible prizes donated by local businesses, and live entertainment, music, and dancing. Tickets are on sale now, with group booking discounts available, making this an ideal Christmas party opportunity for businesses. Tickets can be purchased by visiting https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/893640832787?aff=oddtdtcreator.

Businesses and organisations can support these worthy causes through sponsorship opportunities or by donating prizes for the silent auction. For more information, please contact the event organiser at the details below.
