The Chilterns Neuro Centre’s Pop-Up Art Weekend in Wendover has just concluded its most successful year yet, drawing in over a thousand art enthusiasts to experience a world of creativity. The event, which took place on Thursday 7 March, 2024, saw remarkable sales and transformed the usually clinical space into a vibrant art gallery.
The exhibition, held in collaboration with the Clare Foundation, featured the works of 80 talented local artists showcasing a diverse range of artistic styles including paintings, sculptures, glasswork, ceramic, and jewelry.
Amidst the array of stunning artworks, a delightful display of cakes was also on show, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the event. These edible masterpieces not only brought joy to attendees but also contributed significantly to the fundraising efforts.
In total, the charity raised an impressive £21,000, which will be used to support its work in aiding those affected by MS, Parkinson’s, and strokes to live life to the fullest.
“The fantastic success of our Pop-Up Art Weekend is a testament to the power of community and creativity coming together for a great cause,” stated Danielle Medd, Fundraising Manager at the Chilterns Neuro Centre. “We are deeply grateful to our generous artists and extend a heartfelt thank you to our dedicated volunteers – this event would not be possible without their commitment.”
