Charity for Children Supported by London Taxi Drivers Receives Top Honor at Syn Film Festival Gala Awards

London Taxi Drivers Charity for Children Wins Top Prize at Big Syn International Film Festival

London, UK – The London Taxi Drivers Charity for Children (LTCFC) has been awarded the prestigious first prize at the Big Syn International Film Festival. The event, held at the Curzon cinema in Shaftesbury Avenue on Friday 8th November, recognized the charity’s heartwarming work and its upcoming centenary in 2028.

Established 96 years ago, the LTCFC has been dedicated to taking children on outings to the seaside since the 1940s. Their winning film showcased these outings throughout the years, highlighting nearly a century of bringing joy to children’s lives. The film, produced by London Cab driver Sean Paul Day, will now be featured on the iconic Piccadilly Circus lights – one of the UK and Europe’s largest and most recognizable billboards.

“We are incredibly proud and grateful to have been recognized with this prestigious award,” said a spokesperson for the LTCFC. “This is a significant achievement for our organization, and we are excited to see our film displayed on the iconic Piccadilly Circus lights.”

To celebrate this momentous occasion, the LTCFC invites everyone to join them at Piccadilly Circus on Thursday, 14th November 2024, at 11 a.m. Let’s come together to support this incredible charity and their impactful work.
