Vocal Star Ltd are celebrating the invention of the karaoke machine by creating International Karaoke Day. On July 19th, people all over the world will come together to celebrate the history of karaoke and the many health benefits it provides.
The first karaoke machine was created in 1971 by nightclub musician Daisuke Inoue in Kobe, Japan. He is often considered to be the inventor of the modern business model for karaoke. As such, Vocal Star have taken the year of the machine’s release, to create the date of International Karaoke Day.
Vocal Star’s Jay Taylor said: “We have created this day to enable people all over the World to come together on this one day to celebrate karaoke, which in turn promotes inclusion, acceptance, grows confidence and is a really fun activity.”
Karaoke has several health benefits including stimulating the brain, relieving stress, helping to show feelings and emotions, showcasing talent, improving memory and building confidence. It is also a great way to socialize and have fun.
